Gewürztraminer DOC Alto Adige
The pleasure is in the nose…
Our Gewürztraminer grows on the warm, sandy soils with limestone gravel and Gardena sandstone found close to Lake Caldaro.
Straw-yellow with greenish reflexes, the wine possesses typical aromas with notes of mint, white garden roses and exotic lychees. Full-bodied and pleasant on the palate, it has considerable mellowness, a fine acidity and a good length.
Our Gewürztraminer pairs very well with fine Asian cuisine, hearty fish dishes and mature cheeses.
Tasting notes:
Pale yellow with a light, greenish hue.
Typical flavour of mint, white rose and an underlying, delicate note of lychees.
Pleasant on the palate, mellow, with elegant acidity and a long, lingering finish.
